  15.         SYMPTOM:     Running DR DOS external commands under OS/2

  17. ISSUE/PROBLEM        Many of the external, and some of the internal
  18. commands are not available to OS/2 users under the DOS emulation
  19. shell for OS/2.

  22. SOLUTION             Create a bootable DR DOS floppy with the
  23. associated CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files.  Internally, these
  24. files can point to device drivers and commands existing on the hard
  25. drive, but it is perferred to have the device drivers and commands
  26. on the floppy as well.  Create a boot image of this floppy using
  27. the OS/2 VMDISK command (found in the OS2\MDOS directory).  This
  28. image can be used to create a DOS window and will emulate DR DOS
  29. 6.0.
